Mangalore, Sep 6: Prof U T Fareed Ifthikar Ali has been nominated as syndicate member (Governor’s nominee) of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science (RGUHS), Bangalore, for the period 2013-2015.

Prof Ali is a member of the academic council and former member of board of studies of RGUHS. He is working as professor at Dr M V Shetty College of Physiotherapy, Mangalore.

He did his bachelor of physiotherapy (BPT) from Dr M V Shetty College (Mangalore University) in 1999, master of physiotherapy (MPT) from Dr M V Shetty College, Rajiv Gandhi University (RGUHS) in 2003, and pre-PhD from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab.

He has won several recognitions like Young Achiever’s Award from AWCP, WCP, and IAP, been felicitated for service rendered in blood donation camps by Blood Biome Banking Trust, Mangalore, and the ‘Talent Milad Award’ by Talent Research Foundation.
