Kasargod, Sep 9: Kasargod police led by DySP P P Mohanchandran on Monday September 8 arrested a man for allegedly robbing over Rs one crore from a person in Bahrain.

The accused is identified as A Fazal (27), a resident of Anangur, Tippunagar.  Two more people who were involved in the robbery have also been taken into custody in Trissur.

Fazal is accused of throwing chilli powder into the eyes of Sajeer (28) from Mallapuram, who resides in Bahrain, and taking away 60,000 dinars (over Rs one crore) from him. Sajeer is an accountant in the company run by Abdul Ghafoor, also of Mallapuram.

The incident had occurred on August 1 in Bahrain this year, when Sajeer was taking the money in his vehicle to deposit it with a money transfer agency, sources said. He was shifted to a hospital soon after the incident.

A complaint was lodged with the Bahrain police. Though the police had arrived in Kasargod, they could not arrest the accused. Ghafoor had then complained to the Kasargod police who arrested Fazal and his accomplices.

The answer about mirchi formula lies in my comments. Wise person would not need further clarification.

First be wise then teach others and before commenting think twice.

    Dear Mohammed Javeed...
My first cousins stay in Bhatkal.
They are Nayak's, a very well known family.I go to Bhatkal often
and have fond memories of the place. My intention therefore can never be to hurt the sentiments of the people there.Communal harmony was never bragged of in Bhatkal till say 2 decades ago, everything was normal but politicians succeeded in vitiating the atmosphere there also. Still a very peaceful place Bhatkal. Very nice people all round.
In any case I shall heed your advice in this case henceforth. I know it hurts and hurts badly the people who are innocent and have no role to play in the horrific happenings.
    God bless......

These kind of crimes make every Indian suspect in the eyes of Arab. Once you loose the trust you loose every thing in life. jobs reserved exclusively for indians would go to some others.

Given to understand that Faizal took BHD 60,000.- from Sajeer but how managed to transfer such a big amount from Bahrain. As far as Kuwait concerned they insist on a proof of the Cash money (in access of KD. 5,000.- )while depositing or transfering out. (AML regulations)

Interestingly many people in Karnataka still vie for Kasargod to join in Karnataka State. Now the question they have to ask themselves that do we need this Kasargod with present situation? But the doubt is also being carved in that why did Mr. Ghaffor owner of a Company would opt for money transfer through agency instead of Banking Net Work? If it is legally formed Company then I am sure he will get more competitive rate same like private exchange centre.

    He cheated one crore???!!!
Really astonishing wealth within a short time.
A middle class man will never make one crore in his full life time unless indulges in quick-bucks like a thief Fazal.

DEAR FAZAL, YOU ARE LUCKY TO BE CAUGHT HERE IN INDIA. 50/50 CASE PHUSKA.... SUBJECT CLOSED.

Every citizen of India is indulged in one or the other deceptions. . Except a small number of citizens live up-to righteously and lawfully.
In the society people say naanu kumbala kaai kaddhilla antha hegalu orasutthiddha bhoopa.
