Mangalore: Louis Pinto elected president of Mandd Sobhann

Mangalore, Sep 10: Louis Pinto has been elected president of Mandd Sobhann for the year 2013-14.

Mandd Sobhann, an organization engaged in the promotion and preservation of Konkani culture, art and language, held its annual general meeting on September 1, during which the executive committee members were elected.

On September 6, the executive committee held its meeting and elected the president and other office-bearers.
 

The office-bearers are as follows:

Gurkaar - Eric Ozario

President - Louis J Pinto

Vice–president - Ashok Shet

Secretary - Irine Rebello

Treasurer - Lawrence Dsouza

Joint secretary - Rony Crasta

Co-ordinator - Stany Alvares

Public relation officer - Arun Raj Rodrigues


Executive committee: Kingsly Nazareth, Victor Mathias, Naveen Lobo, Sheldon Crasta, Kishore Fernandes, Vernon Dsouza, M A Rehman, Savitha Dsouza, Matilda Pinto, Joy Fernandes, Goa, and Nagendra Shenoy.
