Dubai: USWAS holds blood donation camp

Dubai, Sep 11: UAE's St Mary's Welfare Association of Shirva (USWAS) organized a blood donation campaign at Latifa Hospital here on Friday September 6 from 9 am to 11 am.

Promoting ‘Give Blood-Save Life ‘campaign, USWAS has enthusiastically come forward to serve the humanity which is one of its mottos.

A large number of donors irrespective of cast and creed participated in this noble cause and donated blood to make the event successful. The managing committee members of USWAS were in attendance to welcome the donors and guided them for the initial formalities of blood donation.

USWAS managing committee thanked all the donors who took active participation in this campaign and were grateful to them. This is the second time USWAS had organized blood donation campaign. Their efforts were well appreciated by DHA and staff of the hospital.

On behalf of USWAS-Shirva all the participants were awarded with a letter of appreciation by the president Nelson Castelino.

Breakfast was arranged for all the donors.
