Karaval Milan Sports Fiesta in Sharjah on November 22

Dubai, Sep 11: Karaval Milan Dubai, an organization comprising members from Udupi diocese, are all set for Sports Day Fiesta on November 22, 2013 at the picturesque Sharjah Wanderers ground in Sharjah.

In the past Karaval Milan has had the distinction of introducing variety in competetion. This year too for the first time of the history of sports in UAE, Karaval Milan has declared that games will be open to all UAE residents with roots from Karnataka and Goa.

The sports day fiesta will be a day-long event with men’s volleyball and women’s throwball as the primary sports. Mixed throwball which was introduced by Karaval Milan in the UAE, will have a different version in the form of mixed throwball for under 19 with the sole goal to enable maximum participation for all sports lovers, due to which entry for participants has been restricted to one sport.

Karaval Milan will also bring in more innovation by introducing underarm mixed box cricket for the first time. The mixed box cricket will comprise 8 participants with at least 2 women and one child below 15 years.

Games have also been planned for children to keep them entertained, with plans for a bouncy castle for the kids.

The entry fee for all the team sports has been fixed at a nominal Dhs 250.

The entries are limited and have been restricted on a first-come basis.

The last date for the entries is November 10, 2013.
