Human beings are not same as animals. If the wisdom and sense does not prevail while driving, the result is death. There is no point in just blaming RTO. Driver must know what are his limits and if he ignore traffic norms then the law will not rescue him. Drivers themselves are responsible for their negligence untimely death. RIP.

Mr.Rudolf...no doubt you are right. Do you no the reason for this ??

Mangalore & Udupi Traffic Police Department are inactive. 95% people are not following traffic rules & out of them I am sure 80% don't aware of complete Traffic rules.

Our local Political leaders never raised this issue, coz. when they travel Traffic Police escorts them.

I am working on the same project to minimise the traffic accidents but hardly get support from the responsible. Even Electronic media I requested to call Traffic In-charge live on TV, so that people can question them.

Even from Udupi D.C. no initiative taken.

People are driving as per their wish & when you question , they say it is their talent. Innocent people are dying like animals.

Over speeding, wrong overtaking, driving in opposite direction, driving with straight beam light at night with out blinking, overtaking in wrong places, heavy vehicles continuously driving on fast tracts without allowing the vehicle following them, parking at wrong places, using wrong fonts on number plate & Minors riding the vehicles etc etc are common in this area but never anyone took interest to control this.

Very tragic and sad, may the deceased soul's RIP, and those injured recover soon!!

DK has undoubtedly one the largest rate of road deaths in our country, much much greater than even densely crowded Metros like Mumbai!!

Really surprise to note accident occur in Parkala..a remote place.. where in you hardly see 20-25 people near Bus Stop along with 5-6 cows always. These 'Parampara' going on from many years.. No Changes.. Only changes as of Boarding and Lodging of Late Hegde. What's the use to overtake...in such places..where no much vehicles..??
Maruti is not meant for Highways..!!
