Namo Brigade launches Udupi unit, seeks UPA govt's dissolution

Udupi, Sep 17: The Udupi unit of Namo Brigade, an association of like-minded people in support of BJP PM nominee Narendra Modi, was launched with a bike rally here on Tuesday September 17.

The rally which was flagged off at Jodukatte culminated at DC's office at Rajatadri where a protest against the UPA government over price hike and other issues was held.

More than 500 two-wheelers and a thousand people were part of the rally.

The protestors demanded dissolution of the central government and submitted a memorandum in this regard, addressed to the President of India, through the deputy commissioner.

Addressing the gathering, Chakravarthi Sulibele said that it is a popular belief that the number 13 signifies bad luck, but it is not so for India. "But it is applicable only to the West and not to India, as Narendra Modi was chosen BJP's PM nominee on September 13. Hence the number 13 cannot be unlucky and it is just a superstition."

He added, "The astrological stars indicate that Congress will be defeated and BJP will win. Congress also calls Modi a murderer of humans, but during 1984, the Sikhs were massacred by the Congress and not BJP.

"In the previous Gujarat elections, the Congress ran the 'Chak De Gujarat' campaign, but at the end of it, the result was 'check dam Gujarat' with so many development works taking place. Congress speaks of 'Bharat Nirman' but has been no 'Nirman' (formation) but only demolition. For all this to change and to resolve the problems created by the UPA, it is necessary that we have Modi as our PM," he said.

Lashing out at Pakistan, he said, "Pakistan has only two armaments - AK-47 and A K Antony (union defence minister)."

He further added, "Now we have a Prime Minister who is like a robot. Usually robots work on remote control, but robot's remote control is operated by a lady."

Later, the members of the Namo Brigade celebrated Narendra Modi's birthday at Spandana centre, Santhekatte.

Why people mad behind Modi? He is not done anything good. For publicity BJP showing him as the saviour of India. Whatever developement in Gujarat is started by previous chief ministers, and Modi continued that.He dont have that much brain as people think.
Ashok Gehlot in Rajastan have done more development than Modi.

And remember, Atalji, one of the good prime minister of India was not happy with Modi's work.

Nonsense talking.Every person knows what Modi did.He extensively used Chinese companies in Gujarat. When he visited china to attract investment, it is called development oriented visit. But if Siddaramaiah visits china for investment in Karnataka, BJP calls it a tour. If Agni V launch successful it is credited to only scientists, If it fails , it is because of Antony. What a joke? Scientists can't do these rockets without govt. support and fund and clear vision of leadership. Indira ghandi started all the military programs of India, nuclear bomd and she is only the winner against pakistan. She gave intensive financial support to make India one of the few countries to develop their on rockets and satellites. Why chakravarti is not mentioning even once about this.Agni V is not developed in just 5 years ,it took lalf a century to do so. I agree scientists are important, but Nehru created IIT's to create our own scientist, why chakravarti not mentioned this?

When it comes to PM candidate, its 1.23B people’s choice. Some people think corruption, price hike spoiling us and some also may think it's miner issues than communalism in fact whole world don’t want communalism . BJP could have made senior leader Advani ji as candidate and go with all campaign strategies. If UPA can get through probably pranab mukherjee is our next PM :P

Don't bring religion here, I personally dont support any corrupted parties neither communal parties
    So I dont like Congress
but I know well that BJP is not as corrupted as Congress & other parties but everybody knows it is a communal & is fueled by VHP & sangh parivar. The time when it breaks affiliation with sangh, then people of all sections join to adore BJP, till then it remains as a COMMUNAL.

The majority of Minorities don't like corrupted congress but for them, there is no other option when it comes to peace. So If somebody give them a chance to choose between two evils (Coruption & Communal)
They will definitely prefer Corruption rather Communal BJP

    Jatin,

Whether Dinesh Rathod is from Gujrat or from Kudla doesn't matter. Here what makes sense is of what he says. Don't give the country in the hands of butcher like Narendra Modi. Think about people who were killed in Godhra train burning. If your parents, or siblings would have killed in such incident you wouldn't think of electing Modi the butcher as the Prime Minister. The day Modi becomes Prime Minister, India will become a butchery place where we all may have to seen Egypt turmoil in India. Modi is a corrupt politician who doesn't value human's life. He has no idea of the meaning of respect for other person. If he respected he wouldn't have killed so many. All he has is distinction between religion.
Please read the news papers of July 13, 2013 where Modi says " No guilty feeling about Gujarat riots." - Think about giving your country in this Butcher's hand. I hope Indians will be wise enogh not to choose this masacrer

Rakesh Poojary, Bejai, Mangalore you should stay in a country like egypt for sometime then you will realise what is india and what is egypt. The congress supporters like you act like living in fear the only being you cannot digest Modiji popularity. Remember India is an democratic country and not the property of Gandhi family or congress.

    1. TO DEVELOP INDIA LIKE GUJARATH.-Gujarat is developed? Where in LALA land?. On internet Guajrat is the capital of world. Waht about the malnutrition rate there

    2. TO CURB INFLATION.-One needs to be educated to understnd what Inflation is before curbing it.

    3. TO REDUCE PRICES OF ESSENTIAL COMMODITIES.-Is that the reason MALNUTRITION IS so HIGH in Gujarat?

    4. TO SECURE INDIAN BORDERS.-Like the Kargil conflict during Vajpayee tenure and Plane Hijack. Not to mention the parliament attack

    5. TO ERADICATE TERRORISM AND CONVERSION ACTIVITIES.By Killing innocents while releasing actual terrorists who later planned 911

Well, Not sure about AK, I know one LK who went and prasied a pakistani in the pakistani land...

Godhara Tragedy? Yes, please take effort to find out. People of Gujarat has done that for past 10 years and based on facts, they have voted for Modiji 3 times, with ever increasing majority.

In this unfortunate incident, apart from 800 Muslims killed, there were 300 Hindus killed. Modiji requested Reserve Police forces from both, MP and Maharashtra, both Congress ruled states, who denied these. Gujarat did what it could and thereafter, there are ZERO riots in Gujarat and all minorities lives in peace and prospers together. Modi is truly secular - development of all, appeasement of none, is the motto, and seen in practice.
