Doha, Sep 18: KSQ continuing its endeavour to encourage Talent among Members in Qatar has decided to organize 'Ladies Talent Search 2013' on September 27 and October 4.
These competitions are open to Ladies from Karnataka Sangha . Non-members can also participate by becoming a member on the day of the event.
Sudha Baragur , a well known Humorist(stand-up comedian) will be the guest of honour for this years event. She is a recipient of more than 500 awards including, Karnataka Rajyotsava Award. She has conducted more than 1500 shows in India and abroad. She is all set to perform live again in Qatar on October 4.

September 27: Al Jazeera Academy - Sports Hall(Entrance from Gate No:1), Near Abu Hamour
October 4: Al Maha Academy -Boys Wing ( Al Kasar Hall, 1st Floor), Salwa
The details of the events are as follows:
Date: September 27 Morning Session from 8 am to 11:30 am
Registration: 8:00am to 8:30am
Events will be conducted as follows:
1 Rangoli Free Hand Competition (8:30 am to 9:30 am)
2 Painting –Water Paint competition (9:45 am to 11:15am)
Afternoon Session from 3:30 pm to 8:45 pm
Registration: 3:30pm to 4 pm
1 Tea Time Snacks competition 4pm to 4:20pm
2 Sweet Cooking Competition 4:30pm 4:50 pm
3 Fruits & Vegetables Carving competition 5pm to 6:30pm
4 Best out of Waste competition 6:45 pm 7:45pm
5 Mehndi ART competition 8pm to 8:45pm
October 4: Afternoon Session from 3:30 pm to 9 pm
Registration: 3:30pm to 4 pm
1 KSQ – Beauty Pageant Contest 4pm onwards
2 Standup Comedy By- Sudha Bargur, Karaoke/dance by members and Prize Distribution ceremony
The following are the regulations to be followed by the participants:
1. This event is for 'Married women only'.
2. Entry Fees for each competition will be Qrs 10
3. Entry Fees for Prize Distribution(Sudha Baragur Event) will be Qrs 15 per person. Snack boxes will be served. Entry is free for children below 6 years.
4. Entry Passes will be available at the venue.
5. Winners in each event will get a Memento.
6. There will be many lucky-dip prizes for the audience as well.
7. KSQ also encourage ladies to come forward and show their talent in the form of Karaoke/Mimicry/Solo Dance . Please note that this is not a competition.
Karaoke/Mimicry/Solo Dance : Those who want to participate in Karaoke (Kannada and Hindi Songs only) and Mimicry/Solo Dance are requested to send their names with the details, so that we can contact you for audition. Participants have to arrange their own tracks.
There will be a time limit of only 5 Minutes. The last date for receiving entries: September 24
