But it looks a herculian task considering the bad publicity given by the candidates themselves during the elections in order to win themselves a seat.

Congratulations to Mr. Francis Cutinho and Mr. Alwyn Patrao.
Though they are reported to be elected unanimous, directors form other camp are not seen in the pictures. Was this an unanimous election or un-opposed ion? I hope and expect the directors to forget their alliance to particular group and to work together to uplift the bank. The groupism will damage the prospectus of the bank. However, the bad publicity during election about the previous board where Mr. Cutinho himself was one of the directors has shaken the faith of the shareholders and the depositors. To win the elections people should not damage the institution by false propaganda. I hope suitable action will be initiated against the people who wrote in a Konkani periodical and in a fictious web site about the board and the bank. The new board has eminent and learned people and I am sure they will not allow these people to go scot-free. If they remain silent now, tomorrow same people might tarnish their image and the image of the bank again and again.

Congratulations to all diretors and newly elected President/Vice-President.

Point to note here: The last team had done excellent work - to bring to life the MCC bank, but the bad publicity during elections was not really respectable. Those people who have indulged in this, will have to answer their concience.

I do not know whose 'mande' it was that introduced uniform system for the staff. Please dispense with such LKG system forthwith.Work for creating system of 'belonging'with staff by helpingg them to comeout from inferiority complex.Let them not approach other banks for small personal loans.Exert more on retail lending loans such as hsg, auto, house durables loanss, personal loans etc., by delivering the products quickly.
New 'retail'products needs to be introduced. Now election process is over and see to get into business.Catholics are known for resources.Let this be used for growth of community bank.A century old bank has total business base of 410 crores is realy disturbing.Let the bank growns into a socially oriented bank from community bank at all levels.Road map for the bank for next five years should be maticulously drawn by utilising the expertise from few retired bank officers of Mangalore who have'proven track'record. This idea will take the bank to greater heights on fast track mode.Good luck....

My hearty congratulations to dear Mr. Francis Cuthino and Mr. Alwyn Patrao on being unanimously elected as President & Vice President respectively of prestigious MCC Bank. The was in very bad shape five yeaars back. The dedicated work of the team led by Melwyn D'Cunha and Dr. Edward Nazareth had worked hard to bring out the bank from minus to plus including payment of dividend. All the hurdles which were put by authorities have also been removed. Your team supported by Mr. Melwyns group will extend all the co-operation required to take the Bank to greater heights.During the next five years you should aim opening of at least ten branches and deposit base of Rs. 750 to enable it to get qualified for Scheduled bank status. You can bankupon my services whenever required. Wishing your team and the bank all the best.
