Unilever, Zulekha Hospitals hold ‘Happy Mothers’ campaign

Sharjah, Sep 23: Unilever, one of the world’s leading FMCG companies, partnered with Zulekha Hospitals, one of the most trusted Healthcare Brands in the UAE, to celebrate all new mothers through its ‘Happy Mothers’ campaign.

The campaign kicked off in the hospital’s Sharjah branch on Sunday September 22 in the presence of Arijit Ghose, managing director of Unilever Gulf and Zanubia Shams, CEO of Zulekha Hospitals.

The campaign aims at recognizing and honoring mothers, whilst expressing gratitude for the spirit of motherhood. Through this campaign, mothers will be handed hampers that include congratulatory messages and an array of Unilever products including Vaseline lotions, Vaseline Petroleum Jelly baby, Comfort baby and Lipton Clear Green.

“Celebrating new mothers is our way of thanking and recognizing our loyal consumers, as mothers constitute 80% of our consumer base. In addition to that, Zulekha hospital is one of the most trusted healthcare brands in the region and therefore we are happy to have them as our strategic partner throughout the campaign,” said Arijit Ghose, managing director of Unilever Gulf.

 “Our partnership is aimed to be one of the most beautiful and compassionate celebration to show the love and courtesy to motherhood as in this world the most challenging and rewarding job is lead by mothers. The campaign will run till end of 2013 and will be extended to Zulekha Hospitals’ branches to cover 20,000 extra new mothers.

The partnership between Zulekha Hospitals and Unilever is also towards sustainable development of the community - Zulekha Hospitals actively works hand in hand with Lifebuoy hand wash program educating facts of hand hygiene and with Signal dental initiative making more smiles brighter.
