Kundapur, Sep 24: "Through the organization, along with social development, Billava youth are involved in sports and cultural development. This is really appreciable," said Municipal Council member Sandeep A Poojary Kodi.
He was speaking after inaugurating the 14th annual Narayana Guru Sports Meet-2013 for the Billava community on behalf of the 36th annual Sharadostava committee.
Ganesh Poojary, chief secretary, Billawa Samaja Seva Sangha, Kundapur Taluk, presided. Kundapur Junior College professor Rajeev Naika was present as chief guest for the programme. Sharadostava Committee honorary president Rajiv Kotian, secretary Umesh V Kadigimane, municipal member Gunarathna, Billava community womens division president Hema Babu Poojary, sports secretary Dinesh Salian, and joint secretary Vijay Koni were present.
Sharadostava committee president Raghu Vitalwadi welcomed. Rajesh Kadgimane compered the programme.
