Mangalore, Sep 25: Rock bands staging shows in various places are many, but few of them take the bold step of launching their own album.

‘Life Sized Delusion’, an alternative rock band from Mangalore, has made a noteworthy entry into the music world with its debut album titled ‘Closing Walls’. The album comprising of 6 songs of 28 minutes duration was recently released at City Center Mall.

As part of the release ceremony, an hour-long live performance was staged by the band, witnessed by a large number of rock music fans.

The mastering and mixing of the album has been done by Refractor Studios, Pune, and the band took almost a year to bring out the album.

Life Sized Delusion is a hard/alternative rock band of youngsters based in Mangalore. The name for the band was coined in June 2012 even though the members have been holding jam sessions together from their school days. Presently, the band conducts jam sessions at the residence of a band member where they have a separate jamming room.

The band was formed by a group of friends studying in St Theresa’s School. Initially, the band consisted of four musicians - Roger Loren (guitar/vocals), Nithin Sunder (keys/vocals), Prieston Lobo (guitar/vocals), Antony Lobo (bass). They were later joined by Trevor Loren (percussion).

Speaking to Daijiworld, Roger said, “The band is best described as a hard rock band with a pinch of alternative.” The band has won many battles of bands in Manipal Institute of Technology, Canara Engineering College, NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte, and others.

Roger said that in future they would like to perform in various cities and entertain people there. “Our passion for music and encouragement from various people since school days led us to form the band. We will not stop here as we are working on another album, which will be released soon,” he added.

Congratulations to all band members.FYI all famous bands in the history of music started from the garage with very low profile initiated by like minded youngsters. Some of them even couldn't afford power amplifiers and finest guitars. But their determination and hard work created history.Never look back,be united and above all work hard thrive to produce best music.Listen to verities of creations which will yield finaly.I feel rock music can mesmerize people with best guitar licks. You can create your own and let it be your bench mark.Proud of you guys.
