Dubai: ‘Kaalachakra’ troupe arrive from Udupi

Dubai, Sep 27:  The stage is all set for the much awaited award winning Tulu Drama 'Kaalachakra' by Ranghabhoomi ® Udupi and the artistes  landed at Dubai Airport on September 26 at 4:10 pm were well received with a flower bouquet by Nama Tuluveru representatives, main sponsor Satish Venkataramana, Purushotham Salian, Sadan Das, Younis and Shodhan Prasad.

The drama will be staged in Dubai at Nashwan Hall, Al Nasr Leisure land on Thursday September 26 sharp at 7:30 pm and in Abu Dhabi on Friday September 27 at 5 pm in Sheikh Zayer Auditorium, Abu Dhabi Indian School by Abu Dhabi Tulu Koota. 

 

Padmashree Dr B R Shetty has agreed to be the chief guest to inaugurate this programme both in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

This is Ranghabhoomi’s maiden shows in UAE wherein many drama lovers from Udupi and Mangalore dwell that are enthusiastically waiting to watch this popular drama.

‘Kaalachakra’ has got a lot of lighting and sound effects creatively directed by Pradeepchandra Kuthpady who had won the best director award for the play in 2012 Tulu drama competition in Kemtur. 

He is also a versatile actor acted in TV Serials like Mukta Mukta, Brindavana, Mumbelaku, Vatara, Panduranga Vittala, Parvathi Parameshwara. 

His currently telecast serials are Koti Chennaya of Chandana Channel, Saraswathi of Suvarna Channel. Chittu Hejje of E.TV.  He has also acted in Kannada Movies ‘Neenena Bhagavantha’, ‘Pokri Raagu’, ‘Chikku’ and also in Tulu Movies ‘Bangaarda Kural’ and ‘Kanchilda Bale’ which bagged the State Best Regional Movie Award in 2011.
