Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore

Mangalore, Sep 29: A person was caught at Mangalore International Airport for reportedly entering the airport with an authorized ticket and was later caught by the security officials on his exit.

The incident took place on Thursday September 26 night.

The person has been identified as Mujibur Rehman (41) from Uduma, Kasargod. He had come to airport to drop his relatives who were going to Dubai by Jet Airways flight.

It is learnt that Rehman produced an unauthorized flight ticket to security officials and entered the visitors gallery. Later, while coming out after seeing off his relatives, the security officials checked his ticket again and realized it was unauthorized.

The security officials handed over him to Bajpe police who have booked him under section 420 of the IPC.

Kasargod passenger are like providing training the security and other officials in Bajpe airport by showing them what kind of fraud and smuggling cases kasargod people are capable of doing and what kind of things are likely to happen in airports hahahahahah. In this way the officials can avoid future mishaps... :P

The number of smuggling cases have been increasing these days in Mangalore airport which are all done by Kerala people...

He seems to be a past master in many such forgery in different areas including fake Passport, fake currency notes, Ration Card Postal Stamp etc. If the ticket was booked online then the ticket is just on A4 size ordinary paper, but still it has fight number, timings, name of the passenger, etc which has to be faked. Police should check in detail his background, after all he is from Kasargod the hub of criminals.

    Instead,

The Security Officials should be booked for Negligence @ work in a high Risk area , risking the lives of hundreds of passengers , staff and possible loss of property worth millions of dollars.

Imagine a scenario wherein a minor(with a Valid Visa)gains an entry into airport and lands in Dubai with a Durgamba Bus Ticket.

Who is to be held responsible for this screw up the Child or Airport officials ?

Security personnel are not given the computer & access to airline ticketing system to check whether the ticket is genuine or cancelled or forged. Their duty is to check the photo identity and confirm the "photo matches with the face of passenger" and "name in the photo ID matches with the name in the ticket copy". In fact, their duty does not call for doing more than this. When I kept myself in the shoes of security personnel, I felt pity because he is being blamed now even though he is not at fault.

It is the responsibility of the individual (public) to ensure they do not play prank intentionally. Also it is a matter of all our safety. If anyone wants to talk to their dearest one, the actual passenger should complete his formalities and come out as per procedure (there is a procedure available in airport) and enter again keeping sufficient margin (judgemental...!!).

Our Great Indian Security forces!! I blame the security men for letting him in without verifying his ticket. Like someone rightly commented, these men in Khaki should realize that they are guarding an Airport and not a bus stand.

It is good that the entry into airport with un-authorized air ticket person was booked under 420 act of IPC after rectifying the first error.

THE SECURITY PERSONNEL WHO GAVE ENTRY INSIDE AIRPORT WITHOUT CHECKING VALID AIR-TICKET SHOULD ALSO BE BOOKED ON DERELICTION OF DUTY.

BECAUSE OF FIRST ERROR THE SECOND ERROR OCCURRED NOT OTHERWISE.

IN MY OPINION BOTH SHOULD HAVE FINED HEAVILY AT THE AIRPORT ITSELF AS A PUNISHMENT.
The airport authorities are also mistaken to give him entry in an un-authorized air-ticket.
    WHY THEY GAVE ENTRY?
WAS THE AIR-PORT SECURITY PERSONNEL WAS BUSY IN LOADING THE GUN.
