Mangalore, Sep 30: Chief minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah visited bishop of Mangalore Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza at Bishop's House here on Sunday September 29.

"During my first visit to Mangalore itself (after becoming the CM) I have made it a point to meet the Bishop just to thank him on behalf of my party," said Siddaramaiah after receiving felicitation from the Bishop.

Further he said, "I am ever grateful to the Bishop and the Christian community of coastal Karnataka for supporting my party and helping 5 MLAs from the region win the Assembly election, particularly J R Lobo in a special way."

Bishop Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza honoured the chief minister with a shawl, garland and fruits.

Later the Bishop handed over a memorandum to the CM on behalf of the Christian community of Mangalore diocese.

MLA J R Lobo welcomed the gathering and spoke the words of felicitation. Advocate M P Noronha compered the programme.

MLAs of coastal Karnataka, priests, religious and lay leaders of the diocese of Mangalore were present.

Good gesture by C. M. Siddaramaiah!

Christians are awakened and have become active voters and politically conscious after series of church attacks by fascists!

Till then we were not bothered, who is in which party or who won or who lost! In a way BJP is helping Congress!

I regretted deeply for casting my vote in favour of Yogish Bhat two times. In return I got humiliations, threats, negligence, loot, blackmail etc. Yogish and BJP CM never thanked Christian Community, instead they ignored Christians. Atleast Siddaramaiah is recognizing Christians and appreciating them. BJP never fields a christian candidate. BJP functions under RSS n VHP. If BJP recognized us, more chrstians would have supported BJP. Now why jealousy n preaching when CM visits Bishop ? What action did Yeddy take against Kalladka Bhat for spreading poison and attacking innocents ? Did Yeddy and Yogi anytime recognized Christians ?

    Dear Mr. Rajesh Shetty, Mlore-Shj,

YES PUPPYLOVE MR. MODI MODIFIED HUMANS MORE THAN 2000'S IN GUJARAT.

Congress cannot modify humans and only can Edify.

Actly our CM looks like MODIFIED now ever since the rebelstar Ambi told him that he is the Modi of Karnataka. I think the name Modi Modifies everything which is otherwise EDIFIED by the congress.

    Sri Lobo Maam....
'Particularly Lobo Maam in a special way'is what the CM has said. Please don't get swayed by this. You may have got the crucial votes from the 'beautiful community' you belonged. However, do not ever forget that the
votes which made the 'difference' were the 'all round votes' you got
and from across all sections. This put you on the 'top pedestal'. Therefore whilst ruling do not 'DIFFERENTIATE'.
    Ho-Paat No 4....

    Bhandkar Mam,
    what you said it correct,
BUT you have also to include same statement for Kaup MLA/Minister Mr. Vinya Kumar Sorake. whilest voters of majority relegion voted for ex MLA Mr. Lalaji Mendon, Voters of Minority Relgion voted for Mr. Sorake. and now he never bothered for his voters !!
hope you liked this reverse googly !!
at the end we both are loosers, so next time we have use negative voting tool !!
