Doha: Tulu Koota to hold quiz competition on Oct 11

Doha, Oct 1: Tulukoota Qatar, as part of its endeavour to provide a platform for fellow Tuluvas and Kannadigas to exhibit their talent in the field of general knowledge and also to encourage reading habits, especially among the younger generations, has decided to organise their second quiz competition on Friday October 11. 

 A ‘spelling bee’ contest for children will be the added flavour for this year's event.

Spelling bee: This is a spelling competition open to children of 12 years or below, as on October 1 (born on/after October 1, 2001). A copy of the age proof has to be submitted at the time of event registration. There will be a written preliminary round, followed by an oral final round for the finalists.

Quiz: Teams of two participants. There will be a written preliminary round, followed by an oral final round for the finalists.

This contest is open only to members of all Karnataka associations in Qatar.
 
Venue : Al Jazeera Academy – sports activity room – first floor
Date : Friday October 11
Time : 2 pm to 9 pm

Last date for receiving entries: October 4
