New Delhi, Mar 6: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has accepted Russian President Vladmir Putin's invitation to attend the G-8 meeting to be held in St. Petersburg in July this year.
Singh, during a telephonic conversation with Putin late earlier night, accepted the invitation to participate in the meeting.
"The Prime Minister conveyed his acceptance of President Putin's invitation to participate in a broader dialogue with G-8 at St. Petersburg during his 20-minute telephonic talk", a PMO spoksman said.
