Mangalore: Two dead in road accident at Deralakatte

Mangalore, Oct 3: Two persons were killed on the spot in an accident that took place near Ayyappa Swamy Temple, Deralakatte here on Thursday October 3.

The deceased have been identified as Mahesh Gatty (26) and Lakshman (30), both residents of Konaje.
The two were on their way to Mangalore from Konaje. When they reached Ayyappa Swamy Temple, their Honda Activa collided with a bike approaching from the opposite direction.
Due to the impact of the collision, both were thrown off from the two-wheeler. At that instant, a lorry which was passing by ran over them, killing them on the spot.
Konaje police have registered a case.
