Preparing organizations for celebrations is a great job.  Anybody can arrange programmes but making the organizations lead is a great achievement.  The organizations revive the culture, said Padmanabha S Payyade.

If Tulu is our mother, Kannada can be considered our step mother.  So we are the people pulling the cart with Kannada and Tulu.  Life does not get fulfilled without art.  Culture exists in art and language.  So it is necessary to identify artists.

Organizing requires talent.  Kalasarathi Karnooru Mohan Rai and Prakash Shetty Surathkal are like faces of a coin.  They are like Koti Chennaya.  They have done praiseworthy work by felicitating worthy artistes said Surendra Kumar in his presidential address.

Argodu Mohandas spoke on behalf of felicitated people and said that it was a heart touching moment.  Bunts are ahead while recognizing art.  They are also good at discipline.  They are supporters of art.  Known organizer Prakash Shetty is an example for it, he said.  Bunts consider artistes as guests and the recent Yakshagana plays are a witness to it, he said.

Theerthahalli Gopala Acharya described the occasion as fabulous and beautiful and is a result of quest for happiness.
