M'lore: Congress Seva Dal holds free health checkup camp

Mangalore, Oct 4: A free health checkup camp was held by Surathkal block Congress Seva Dal at Kavoor agriculture hall on Friday October 4.

Mangalore city corporation member Mohammed inaugurated the programme and said that scarcity of blood has increased these days.

Minister of health in the state, U T Khadar has provided details of classification of blood in the internet. The central government has started a project whereby the family of a person who dies unexpectedly will be compensated with Rs 75,000.  The members of Seva Dal should strive to make the people friendly projects of the government reach the people, he said.

H M Ashraf, district president of Seva Dal; district organizer Hema Ullal; Suratkal block Congress organizer Shashikala Padmanabha; Suratkal block Congress Seva Dal chief organizer Chandrahas Bhandary and others were present.
