Mangalore: Home stay attack was fight against drugs and sex mafia - HJV

Mangalore, Oct 6: The Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV) on Sunday October 6 organized a youth convention at Padil junction to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and also to 'answer' those who criticized the HJV over last year's attack on home stay at Padil.

Addressing the gathering, HJV state convener Jagadish Karanth said, "There are two reasons for organizing this convention - to mark Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary; and secondly, over the past one year there has been clamour by the media and the so-called intellectuals about the home stay attack with the intention to wipe out HJV and defame the name of Padil, hence, this convention is an answer for all that."

Speaking further on the home stay attack he said, “The incident occurred because of drugs and sex mafia. The so-called intellectuals hyped this issue in an attempt to destroy HJV and Hindu culture.

"The Padil home stay attack was used by some journalists and their hired team in an attempt to wipe out HJV and crush the Hindu Samaj by blowing the issue out of proportion and defaming us. Subash Padil who fought against it has won the struggle, although he was jailed for 1 year and 34 days. This convention shows who has ultimately won.

"HJV is clear in its viewpoint regarding the home stay incident, and there is no confusion whatsoever. The very next day after the incident, HJV came out in the open and defended the attack, and to this day we defend it," he declared.

Defending the attack on home stay, he added, "All in all, the home stay incident was a fight against drugs and sex mafia, wherein innocent girls are trapped and forced into prostitution. HJV will never allow this to happen in Hindu Samaj. The Padil incident was an answer to drugs and sex mafia, aimed at protecting the Hindu Samaj from cultural attack."

Showering praises on the HJV activists who had carried out the attack, he said, "The youths who tried to protect the Hindu Samaj against the cultural attack were sent to jail for one year and two months. Remember, if ever your granddaughters or relatives are trapped in drugs and sex mafia, HJV activities like Subash Padil will come to their rescue."

Coming out in strong support of Subhash Padil who was one of the main accused in the incident, he said, "The police also trapped Subash Padil in dacoity case by going to his house and placing things in Subash’s suitcase. A few alleged that Subash was involved in the incident because he was not getting ‘hafta’ and even former state home minister R Ashok had stated that Subash had taken money from JD(S). We have faced many hurdles in our revolution."

He also said that journalists who were arrested in the case 'begged' with the government to withdraw the case, but HJV never did that and stuck on to its stand.

'Drugs and sex mafia thriving in DK'

Expressing concerns over increasing cases of drug abuse in the district, Karanth said, "Dakshina Kannada is suffering due to the influence of the drugs and sex mafia. Mainly innocent college girls are being victimized by them. College-going girls are trapped in the name of parties and birthday celebrations where they are sexually exploited, filmed, and pushed into prostitution. This is the strategy of this mafia. College students from various places come to Dakshina Kannada because it is an educational hub. Hence, keeping this in mind, the drugs and sex mafia is thriving here. After such incidents, the girls are not ready to file a complaint.

"Many support this cultural attack as well as the drugs and sex mafia including some policemen. After the home stay incident, a girl named Sneha lost her life to drugs. But no secularists or leftists came forward to protest against it," he pointed out.

"The drugs and sex mafia is actively functioning in Dakshina Kannada but HJV will never tolerate it," he said.

"When there is no one to listen to the problem of the Hindu Samaj, when there is no equality or law, when there are corrupt officers, what is wrong with moral policing? There is no other way when justice is denied. Where was Ramanath Rai (district incharge minister) when cattle were stolen from cow sheds?

"There are several hurdles to a Hindu Samaj. HJV is born to protect Hindu culture and it will fulfil its responsibility," he said.

Blessing the occasion, Sri Rajashekarananda Swami, said, “We have gathered here on the auspicious day of ‘Sharanavarathri’. Lord Durga took nine ‘Avatars’ to destroy evil. It is also necessary for the Hindu Samaj to do so. The Hindu Samaj is positive energy. Positivism can correct our deteriorated culture and system. It is necessary and we should struggle to preserve our Hindu culture. Only a Hindu leader can lead this country towards betterment. Every Hindu should play the role of Rama. Today, our culture, values, and morality in society is decreasing and all pro-Hindu organizations should strive to protect this land.

Sathyajit Suratkal delivered the keynote address. On this occasion, Janardhan Arkula, Vasudev Gowda, Kishor, Subash Padil, Amith, and Raviraj B C Road were present.

Dear,Kiran Shetty, Singapore,Soorinje is threatened by police and all saffron groups, and you expect him to face HJV? And Sneha was handled by BD people and she died. Had she was taken to a charitable hospital, she could have been saved.

There is no flight to Mangalore to take drugs from Bkk, the drugs come to Mangalore because of Mumbai and Dubai bars run by shetty brothers. Do you need more explanations how it comes to Mangalore?
I wonder what will happen to this convener and the entire cast of the whole drama if one day the hiding girl victims turn as court witness.
Now they are young and when the case come up hearing, the victims also grow and realize what should have been done and they can always come to the court as witness along with the journalist Soorinje.
The lady corporator sitting in the first row looks like she is very uncomfortable with speech and situation.

These activists are nothing but the foot soldiers of the Sangh Parivar indulging in provocative anti-social activities, in the name of God, for vote bank.
Please ban such organisation and bring a new bill in the assembly to ban such organisations that divide the communities and disturb the communal harmony in the society. For the political benefits they instigate communal unrest and fish in troubled water for vote bank. This is the master plan of RSS to promote BJP through crooked-buddi.
Hey people, don’t fall for it and remember the good old saying, “United we stand & divided we fall”.

HJV thinks taking law on it's own hand is a yeoman service to HINDU SAMAJ!!!In fact,HJV spoils Hindu Samaj's image.By and large Hindu Samaj is a tolerant and hospitable society.Cooperating with system is main duty of the HJV and acting with own convictions will not serve the society. There is no threat to HINDU CULTURE OR HINDU SOCIETY IN INDIA but org like HJV misguiding portion of society youths to chaos and violence.

when the same treatment was given to some guys belonging to Majority community in Kaup , bandh was called it was called as act of goondaism by the same groups.

But when you do it , its called protecting culture ??What bull$#*T double standards !! How well you guys protected the culture can be seen by many generations through youtube videos !

My sincere request to Daijiworld & other media houses to stop covering such events where only hatred is spread ! This type of people should get same treatment as given to Pravin togadia , whom media completely ignores now !

HJV successfully made it’s political affiliated party bite the dust in the assembly polls, thanks to pub/home stay attacks and moral policing. Now by justifying their misadventures, looks like they are hell bent on repeating the history during LS polls 2014. With photographs depicting the facts of those incidents, there’s no question of media blowing things out of proportion. For instance, in this very convention, none of the activists on two wheelers as shown in pictures, wear helmet which is against the law, can they claim these pictures are media doctored?

HJV is acting as cultural police. Do they think by attacking innocent boys and girls celebrating birthday party they have protected the Hindu culture? Is it a Hindu culture to rape a medical student at Manipal. Nobody can enforce morality (immorality) by intimidating and attacking people. If they are so concerned abut the Hindu culture there are lots and lots instances where their own Hindu sisters thriving on illegal prostitution by promising jobs to young girls and pushing them into flesh trade in red light area of Mumbai and other places. Their own brothers are the recruiting agents of these girls. Why can't they stop their activities. If they find that the youths are doing anything wrong they should complain to the police.

Once they are out on bail, now you talk anything.Because you know that the law is weak and police system too.
Your hindu Culture we have seen and the world will see for ages on you tube, how they pulled the over coat and clothes.
Your hindu culture on its own destroy your HJV once your own boys get good education.
Now you have some jobless boys to support you,in future your leaders might have to migrate to save themselves.
The video is enough proof to punish your team that carried out the so called saviour acts.
The statements given by Soorinje are proper evidence to nail your hero Subash Padil.
Now the girls are young and hiding, once they grow and your case will come for hearing, they will come to court to nail your brave team for seven years.

    wow what a lame reason
HJV seriously dont have any work they just know to be ruthless goon's
most of the eve teasing in mangalore is done by these activist uneducated goon's itself

i am sure there are many hindu activist youth followers who has girlfriends

well having a girlfriend is not a hindu culture

No excuse should be given. No one has the right to beat up girls, whether they are wrong or no ,beating up girls is hindu culture according to HJV

untill and unless these uneducated and uncivilised are behind bars we cant expect mangalore to improve

HJV wont be a savior they will just be torturer's for the youth girls and boys

no wonder ppl of mangalore waiting to run away to abroad or blore to study or to work

Looks like bikes are hired for one day show. Most of them don’t have even a single coin in their pockets.
First of all, HJV leaders should advise their goons to take care of themselves, And then to their own parents. For public its not your concern
You don’t have any right to enter public’s private life even if they are Hindus. The people in Mangalore are educated, they know whats right & whats wrong for them unlike your uneducated HJV youth. You don’t have right to judge any parties/functions and take action by vandalism, There is a police law & order if anything goes wrong.

We all Indian's and the whole world has got the highest of high regards and respect to Swami Vivekananda's.It is in the begining of his speach he addressed brothers and sisters and the same has been practiced in all the reilgion's sermon but he never told that to take the law of their land in their hand and start doing policing act instead of informing the police about some wrong thing.

Sex and drug has no culture so how can you say that it destroys hindu culture. If you want to safeguard people from drugs and sex you guys start from your sister first, mother first, brothers first and how many of you not having drugs, not having sex outside of your marriage, how many of you donot consume beef. Before lecturing I beg you my hindu brothers and sister kindly start from your home cleaning first then one by one will follow your foot step. You can't police others and you do at home which is called hypocracy. If you want to change the society start educating people rather moral policing like Saudis or some of those nations on pulling out freedom of religion, freedom of everthing and do what they ask you to do which is a jail life. India is good and if you want to make it better do it in a systamtic way rather forceful ways

fight in a nice manner to bring into the notice of Police department is well apriciated but Swami Vivekananda never ever might have thaught violence. You guys first teach your so called followers not to indulge in voilently attack, there is police dept2handle these issues. HJV/BD RSENA n other hindu organisation 1st catch those who sell these drugs, instead of doing hafta vasooli with these drug dealers sellers, then teach ur active jobless youth brigade not2play ulai-pidai cards game,so many of ur youth brigade are not respected by thier own family members coz they r not worth n useless for their families, there are somany youngsters who are robbers, robbed their family's gold/money.even in ur organization lot of youths have lot of cases such as goondgiri after having alcohol and after consuming different kinds of drugs some take cough syrups/some ganja/some tablets clean ur house first then go out in public and inform the police department before taking any action...ask the people whoever involved in the any illegal activities in a calm way to surrender2the police.u people doesnt hav any right2beat them n catch hold the girls any part and laugh ...ur boys where enjoying these girls which can make out the intention of ur boys whether they are doing the gud work after the incident these boys of ur's where talking betn their friends circle "yaan alena moolu pathiye/aleg gati arantudhu pathiye...this shows the gud work of ur brigade.
FOLLOW SOME OF SWAMI VIVEKANAND's n other FAMOUS SWAMI's QOUTES... DEAR VHP/BD/HJV/SRI RAMA SENA(i dont know how many of u guys n ur youth brigade even touched or opened the books of swami vivekananda)

HJV must understand and must know there is a Law & Order department in every area. They must complaint to that department if they found some evil activities are going on. HJV or any such groups are not having any right to attack, and punish. There is court and it is their duty. Hope these useless guys need to be educated and if they disobey pit them in jail for at least 10 years.

Even the DEVIL can quote the Holy Scriptures for his own purpose.
Whatever the HJV says to defend their action may convince only their supporters. Their actions are inspired by Jealousy, Hatred, Intolerance, Illiteracy .....
By their words they call themselves protectors of Hindu culture ... but in their Intentions and deeds they are destroying the Hindu culture .... destroying the high values of Hinduism .... destroying the growth of Hinduism.
There is no difference between their actions and the acts of terrorists.
They are a SHAME to HINDUSTAN.
Change can be brought in only through divine values and Hinduism is loaded with such values.
