Mumbai: Rangappa Gowda elected president of Okkaligara Sangha

Mumbai, Oct 8: Rangappa C Gowda was recently elected president of Okkaligara Sangha.

In an annual general body meeting that was held in Sanjay Appa Chambers of Dr Charat Singh colony at Chakala in Andheri east, the new president was unanimously elected.

Narayana R Gowda, president of the Sangha, presided over the meeting. The new president was so far working as the vice president and the secretary of Jayalaxmi cooperative society.

As the outgoing president was appointed as the MLA in Karnataka, the new president was presented with flower bouquet and the position was handed over to him in the meeting congratulating him on the occasion.

Secretary K Raje Gowda and other office bearers were present on the dais.

Narayana R Gowda, who was elected as MLA was felicitated on the occasion.
