Mangalore: Youth from Kaikamba dies in Jubail accident

Mangalore, Oct 13: A youth from Gurpur Kaikamba died and two others were injured in a car accident in Jubail, Saudi Arabia on Saturday October 12.

The deceased has been identified as Mohammed Farooq (27), son of Abdul Khadar and Ayesha.

Farooq was working in Jubail. As per the information obtained, Farooq and his colleagues were going for work when a bus hit their car.

Farooq who was critically injured in the accident was soon rushed to hospital but died on the way, said family members.

Ibrahim, a resident of Bajpe and Mubin were injured in the accident. Ibrahim is out of danger despite suffering severe injuries, sources said.

It is learnt that the deceased was working there for the past 4 years and had made all necessary arrangement to come home on vacation this December. Among his two younger brothers, one is working in the Gulf and other one is studying. His elder sister is married.

Necessary arrangements are on to bring the body home, said a family member.
