Udupi, Oct 16: Bhujanga Shetty, former Zilla Panchayat president, demanded that the DC respond against the implementation of forms 9 and 11 in the district in a press meet called on Tuesday October 15.

“Vikas Sauda, meeting was held on September 18, and a memorandum regarding the same was submitted to exempt Karavali from 9/11. The committee agreed to the same but the DC M T Reju is not ready to act for the public and implement these rules for betterment,” said Shetty. He said that the DC is personally supporting this act and wants it to be continued here.

“Every small land owner has an RTC with them. CRZ has stopped development here; partition in the join family is not possible now because of 9/11. In the district, there are many buildings, shopping complexes and flats which even don’t have parking facility,” he added and questioned the need for giving 40 cent out of 1 acre to the government in the villages. He added that the DC is involved in this issue on purpose and is dragging it in reverse.

He requested a solution within 15 days and threatened a protest if this was not done. Kishore Shetty, Guruprasad Poojari, Ganesh, and Prathap Shetty were present.
