Mangalore: Rama Sene attacks MFar Constructions office

Mangalore, Oct 19: Activists allegedly belonging to Rama Sene attacked MFar Constructions office located at Light House hill building here on Saturday October 19.

The building was attacked by two persons who pelted stones from outside and broke the window panes.

Sources said that the incident occured as the company had some outstanding amount regarding purchase of building materials. Payment to some of the workers was also pending, said a member of the Rama Sene.

Bunder police arrived at the spot and investigations are on.

This is a form of 'hafta Vasooli'. Samething happened to Pub, Ice Cream Parlour and Morning Mist. Yield to their regular demands, else your business will be in trouble. Earlier, under the rule of their God Fathers, it was easy for them, but now, they will feel the heat. Poor lazy animals are facing financial difficulty to drink cold beer and fill their belly with chicken sukka. Hope Congress govt. will keep their promise of cleaning our city clean from these drainage worms.

When you call “Sene” means there should be more people. If you adopt similar principle in Gulf Countries to recover the outstanding payments, I think not even a single UAE Offices will remain unscathed. I think now a day people don’t believe in law and order in our region since most of the Strict Police Officers are duly transferred or not assigned with any duty till date. Catch these two culprits and throw the stone back to them with due respects and then they will realize the value of stone throwing for life

The Law and order is solely responsibility of your government now. Nowadays (since two months) it has been gone rampant. If these communal groups takes law in their hands just like during previous BJP government, then what is the use of Congress party in the state. Why were we elected you over BJP?

Contractor cannot construct the building at the cost of Material supplier and primarily cannot deny the rights of Labourers. This is a precautionary signal to other defaulting Contractors as well. Good joke the Rich become richer and as suggested by someone the poor class beg the Court for their dues why ? I am sure Rama Sene will put the record straight.

During BJP regime Rama Sena used to dictate to all the establishments in Mangalore to appoint eScurity Guards from their Security Agencies only. Whoever refused to take Security guards from them were attacked. In fact the Pub attack of 2008 was mainly because that Pub refused to hire security guards from Ram Sena. Of course from that incident even though Ram Sena got bad name, still they were successful in sending the required message to all the Mangalore establishments. From that time onwards all the business establishments in Mangalore appointed Guards from Ram Sena's Security Agencies only. Later on the same Ram Sena people diversified into supply of Sand and other building materials to builders, and some sand mafias belonged to Ram sena.
Now MFar attack is a similar attack to force them to purchase building materials from Ram Sena only.

Mangalore always in the news for such things and due to such incidents occuring in the city everytime, our city will never develop like Bangalore or any other bigger cities. I am staying in Bangalore since last 10 years. I always wished Mangalore should also develop like Mangalore in terms of employment opportunities so that the people dont have to migrate to other bigger cities for employment purpose.
