Mangalore, Oct 23: ‘Dandiya Raas-2013’ will be held at the Justice K S Hegde Institute of Management in association with Big FM on Friday October 25 from 4.30 pm to 8 pm.
Dr Mohan Alva will inaugurate the event. Dr I Ramesh Mithanthaya, vice principal, NMAMIT , will be the chief guest and Dr K Sankaran, director, Justice K S Hegde Institute of Management, will preside over the function.
Since past few years Justice K S Hegde Institute of Management, NMAMIT, Nitte has been organizing Dandiya Raas on the occasion of Navarathri. This program is not just restricted to the students of the institute but it is also open for students from the neighbouring colleges. The event had fetched an overwhelming response with around 2,000 students being a part of it.
DJ Chris will provide the music and entry tickets are priced at Rs 100. Over 2,500 students from various colleges are expected to be a part of the event this year.
Big FM and Tribal Tatoo Shop are the major sponsors.
