Bangalore: BJP leaders' demand for Santosh Lad's ouster grows louder

Bangalore, Oct 24 (DHNS): More than 2,000 BJP workers staged a protest at Freedom Park here on Wednesday demanding resignation of minister Santosh Lad.

Lad, the minister for Information and Infrastructure, is facing allegations of involvement in the mining scam.

State BJP president Pralhad Joshi alleged that the Congress was protecting Lad just as Sonia Gandhi protected her son-in-law Robert Vadra for his role in DLF land deals.

Former chief minister D V Sadananda Gowda said that AICC president Sonia Gandhi will ask Siddaramaiah to step down as chief minister soon after the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The police arrested the protesters as the latter attempted to march towards the chief minister’s residence. They were released later. Karnataka Youth Congress alleged that the BJP had no moral right to speak against illegal mining.

“It is ironical that R Ashoka, who faces numerous charges, is now sitting on a dharna in front of the chief minister’s residence,” Rizwan Arshad, the leader of the Youth Congress said. They threatened to sit on a dharna in front of Ashoka’s residence if the latter chooses to stage a protest in front of the chief minister’s residence.

    we can see in the 5th photo Mr,Jeevaraj MLA of sringeri constituency have case against him in lokaukta for irregularities in granting ‘bagair hukum’ land in N.R. Pura taluk also he has case for bda sites, also most of the bjp MLAs looted karnataka government and lost in elections now they are fighting for election purpose,,,,,

    WHEN BJP WAS IN POWER IN THE STATE THE GOVERNMENT WAS RULED AND RUN BY THESE MINING FRAUDS.AT THAT TIME NEITHER THE PARTY NOR ANYBODY WHO DEMONSTRATE TODAY HAD ANY OBJECTION.IT WAS C.B.I WHO TOOK THE INITIATIVE ON THE REPORT OF JUSTICE SANTOSH HEGDE AND TAKEN ACTION AGAINST THESE CRIMINALS.NOW THE SAME PARTY IS AFTER MR.LAD WHICH REALLY SHOWS THE DOUBLE STANDARD OF THE PARTY.OUR CHIEF MINISTER KNOW WHAT TO DO AND I DON'T THINK HE REQUIRES DIRECTION FROM BJP.THANQ.

    Governor can not act on as and when tom, dick and harry pester him to take action against Ministers of State.
    Whatever handed over to him by tom,dick and harry he may have passed it on to the Government to look into.
    When he receives a reply, he will make public whatever he has to say.

    Just because previous government was jolly good in changing it's ministers like ten pins, presently we have a real Government who looks after the affairs of the State as it should be. It is functioning very well with dedicated Ministers\officials and will reach its 100% when they can remove all the bad elements which are still there of the earlier Government who are trying to "ADDA KALU KODALIKKE".
    This Government will not trip and fall...

    R. Ashok appointed Police to scuff our present CM by his collar when he was taking that pada yatra.

    Did you see God's hand descending on his own collar by another Police officer when he was protesting just the other day?

    This is to show, God will always punish those who have transgressed unnecessarily and just to show ones might when they are in power.

    SR Hiremath presented 126 pages proof to Siddu, Parameshi, Rajyapala, Sonia 2 days back. But still Siddu says there is no proof.

    The same Siddu did a Dombarata to Bellary to fight against illegal mining. It is ridiculous that the same person is rescuing a thief now. What a hypocrisy..!

    Sooner or later Santhosh Lad has to make exit. Sooner the better.

    The 2nd wicket might be HS Mahadeva Prasad for taking house by giving false information. High Court will soon inquire about it.

    your protest is getting feebler and feebler as the days pass by. Now you have found out there is not much against Lad except for a marginal excessive dumping.
    Whatever, BJP has no moral right for protesting as they are the main culprits in the report with massive corruption. How chors can shout at others as chor - except to try and save their own skins..!!!

    If Lad found guilty (which is important) he should be punished accordingly. No two ways about it.
