Dubai: Mangalore Konkans silver jubilee celebration a total sell-out

Dubai, Oct 24: The much-awaited Mangalore Konkans silver jubilee extravaganza “Celebration 25” is set to unfold with a spectacular entertainment package on Friday October 25 at 6 pm at Dubai’s prestigious Hotel Crowne Plaza. With another day to go, the event is already a total sell-out.
James Mendonca, the dynamic president of Mangalore Konkans is all excited with the response received from Konkani lovers from across the UAE and abroad and has promised that their signature event will create history.
Speaking to Daijiworld, James informed that all tickets have been sold out and there won’t be any tickets available either with the members or at the venue. He regretted that they could not accommodate more people at the venue due to logistic reasons and thanked the people for their overwhelming support.
Artistes Arrive
All the performing artistes have arrived in Dubai during the past two days to enthrall the UAE audience with their electrifying performances. They were welcomed at the Dubai airport by Mangalore Konkans committee members. The artistes have promised to make the evening thrilling and exciting, one that would be remembered for a long time to come.
The evergreen nightingale of Konkani world, the legendary Lorna from Goa, young talent Munita Veigas from Mangalore, Melody King - the man with the Golden Voice, lovable Rony D’Cunha from Kuwait and the Dubai’s own up and coming young magical performer Melwyn D’Souza will set the stage on fire. All the singers will be backed up by Ramiro band from Dubai. Master of ceremony Errol Goveas will handle the proceedings in his own unique style.
Mangalore Konkans promise a fantastic evening of innovative and superb programme with fun and games, which Dubai has never witnessed before. All members of Mangalore Konkans have put in lots of efforts and hard work and have left no stone unturned to make their silver jubilee event a historic one.
