Pakistan Army chief leaves for China


Islamabad, Oct 28 (IANS): Pakistan Army chief Gen. Ashfaq Parvez Kayani left for Beijing Monday on a four-day official visit at the invitation of the Chinese authorities.

During the visit, Kayani will call on China's political and military leadership, the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) reported.

The interaction will encompass Pakistan-China relations with particular emphasis on defence and security cooperation, the Pakistan military's media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
