Dammam: Prasthutha Readers Forum hosts get-together

Dammam, Oct 30:
Prasthutha Readers Forum organized a cultural event ‘Prasthutha Readers Get Together’ recently at Dammam Paragon Hotel Auditorium.

As part of the cultural event there was a free dialogue on ‘Present Media’ in which Prasthutha Readers, well-wishers participated and they stressed on the responsibility of media in social justice.

On this occasion, chief guest Sayed Hameed, principal, International Indian School, Jubail told that the media is not playing its original role; instead it was totally misused by certain sect of the people. This free dialogue was anchored by Fayaz.

There was multi language poet session in which poets from Dammam, Khobar, Jubail participated and entertained the audience. Famous poets Muhammed Ishaq-Jubail, Suleiman-Khobar, Ismail Katipalla, Arif Jokatte, Mumtaz Rashid and Zakir from Dammam participated in this session.

Ashraf, president, India Fraternity Forum-Eastern Province, presented the award to Hasanabba Walpadi, Riyadh who was the winner of the essay competition ‘Responsibility of Media in Social Justice’ which was held earlier.

Finally the drama ‘Prathibimba’ attracted all the audience in which artists performed very well the facts of the present media. The people who gathered in large number appreciated the efforts of Prasthutha Readers Forum.

The event was anchored by Fayaz, Abdussamath and Ahraf Kukkaje. Irshad Jokatte coordinated the event and proposed vote of thanks.
