Rony D`Cunha for Daijiworld News Network

London, Mar 27: Miss Christine D’Silva (Angelore Parish – Red Building Lane) popularly known as Kittybai  lived in and worked for Royal family of Bahrain for over thirty years and presently residing in London, breathed her last on Sunday March 26th 2006, reportedly due to heart attack. She is said to be  78 years old. She leaves behind her younger sister Celine in Bombay (Married to Felix).

Kittybai was a loving and  caring person, a great friend of all.  She was a staunch supporter of Konkani events and always promoted Konkani programmes.

May her soul rest in Peace.

Her funeral rites will take place in London itself, however full details will be announced soon.

Kitty was born in Angelore (Mangalore) then went to Mumbai and  Bahrain and later on  proceeded to the UK where she lived for  more than  3 decades.  Daughter of  late Mr. Baltazar and late Mrs. Antonia D'Silva of Kanapadav, Red Building Lane, Angelore, Kankanady, Mangalore : 575 002 - Kitty is the sister of Celine and Sister-in-law of Felix A. D'Souza (Ex Poinnari),  The funeral rites will be conducted by her friends in London
