Dubai, Nov 1: Sahil Online photographer Fayyaz Laat was felicitated on October 30 by the Dubai Police for helping to apprehend a robber.

Police officials from the Dubai CID called Fayyaz to the Police General Head Quater And felicitated and awarded him with 5000 AED and a watch.

Dubai Police mentioned that Fayyaz had done a great job in helping to arrest a pathan.

Fayyaz Laat from Bhatkal had saved a Chinese woman's purse from being looted by a Pathan man. The purse consisted of thousands of dhirams.

During the loot the woman was pushed onto the floor, Fayyaz came to her rescue and prevented the Pathan from reaching to her, inturn the Pathan dug a knife into Fayyaz's hand creating a grave injury. The police arrived and Fayyaz was taken to the hospital while the robber was arrested.

The police was conducted a meet with all the officers at the police headquarters and felicitated Fayyaz.

Dubai General Inspector and the CID team appreciated Fayyaz for this achievement.
