Pakistan finalising team for Taliban talks


Islamabad, Nov 1 (IANS): Pakistan is finalising the team which will hold talks with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, a media report said Friday.

The team will consist of government officials, politicians, ulemas, intellectuals and experts on military affairs, Geo News reported citing sources.

According to the report, the Pakistan government has removed obstacles in talks with the Taliban.

During the talks, both parties will observe an unannounced ceasefire, the report added.
