Bantwal, Nov 11: It was a visual treat for devotees who witnessed ‘Vishwaroopa Darshan’ at Shree Tirumala Venkatarama Temple premises, accompanied by religious hymns in the wee hours of Sunday November 10.

Early morning in Brahmi Muhurtha at around 4.30, the Vishwaroopa Darshan began after temple chief priest Srinivas Bhat lit the lamp in front of the Tulasi Katte after which thousands of devotees lit earthen lamps, thus brightening the entire precinct of the shrine with light.

Inside the temple, the idol of deity Shree Venkatarama was beautifully decorated with flowers.

The 12th annual Vishwaroopa Darshan was witnessed by thousands of devotees from across the region.

Outside the temple, the earthen lamps arranged in shapes resembling Shanka, Chakra, Gadha, Padma, axe, lotus, Trishul and others, became the cynosure of all eyes.

After offering Kakadaarathi Puja to god, devotees were allowed to witness Vishwaroopa Darshan. Laddu and other Prasadam were distributed to devotees on the occasion.
