Udupi: Rowdy Nagaraj produced in court, to be handed over to Goa police

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (SM)

Udupi, Nov 11: Rowdy Nagaraj, who was caught recently in Goa after he escaped from the clutches of Kerala police in Udupi, was on Monday November 11 produced in the district court, along with his wife Lakshmi.

The court sent him to police custody until evening, after which he will be handed over to the Goa police. Prior to being produced in court, they were taken for medical examination.

On August 28, Nagaraj Belegar alias Satish escaped while he was being brought from Trissur to Udupi court by Kerala police in connection with a case in which he is the accused. He had then gone to Goa where he committed a theft along with his wife. He and his wife were arrested following police investigation into the theft.

Though police had claimed that he had pushed them and fled, it later came to light that Nagaraj and Lakshmi had escaped from a lodge where he was given a room by the police.

On investigation, it was learnt that the couple had taken refuge in Goa, where they were arrested in connection to a theft. The Udupi police on receiving this information brought the accused couple back to Udupi.

Nagaraj is a noted criminal, with over 25 murder, theft and others cases against him in police stations of Goa, Karnataka and Kerala. It is said that he has escaped from police at least three times in the past.

After committing more than 25 notorious crimes he managed to escape 3 times in the past!!

This is our police (police system) allowed him and gave chance no?
Why don't they hand him over to 'JANATHA KI ADALATH'? for on the spot judgement after 25 plus crimes????
    Big Question?
    Who is his God Father?
    Who is behind him?

To be honest, I feel pity on this girl, wondering how she fell into this trap. Whether she involved in theft or just arrested for help him to hide after theft?

Nagraj looks like "laachar" without having biriyani in the jail?
