This damned Gold has brought many lives to end .still many People are longing for Gold. May her Soul rest in peace.I find discussing about sending parents at the Age of 68 is not passened.who said her children sent her?may be she went voluntarily. If she is healthy why not?we say who rests he rests.its nice to move about instead of sitting and chatting about others.By the way here the Pension Age is 67 for your Kind Information.suppose when one wants to go earlier 19%minus .for elderly Born upto 47-48 is 65.that too 35years of service at least.

68 year old woman working in a cashew-factory, family members started searching for her when she didn't return home on time. Shame on them, shame for sending her to work at that age instead of making her to sit at home and taking care. Her own children are responsible for her murder. May her soul rest in peace.

    Sad to hear this.

This shows how their family members (if children, etc) are looking after her.
They sent 68 yr old women for work. This is how the family members are taking care of old age people.

Take action also on the family members, who were allowing this old lady (68 years !) to toil.

At 68, someone needs to sit and relax and let the younger generation take the burden of earning lively hood and take care of old parents.

We, DW commentators have no guts to fight this type of crime.

We are helpless because of poor government sitting in Central and State.

    Anand,

That is too silly to have blamed the government for her killing. The thieves are not sent by the government nor the lady at this age to work.

We as individuals have some responsibility towards the nation/society. The thieves too are sons of some family. Could they not be made as a responsible individual like you and me ? Who made me or you ? The government or our parents by imbibing certain values ?

Secondly, will I/you send our mother work at the age of 68 ?

If Yeddy and similar people demand from Government "Z" security, there are not enough personnel in the police force as well in other departments.
Can you please tell Yeddy and others not to demand such kind of security whilst he is not in the Government and make arrangements on his own as he is well endowed with plenty of State funds in his pocket.
He has to choose those with karate expertise as gun-license is nto given to private security.
Do not waste time on this lest you me will suffer attacks from goonds due to lack of police\security people.

I agree with you most of the points you made but one. Will you send your parents to work at 68?? Is 68 is that old age now? It is a retirement age which is true but there are a lot of people who work after the retirement age, some for money and some for charity, not only in India but all over the world. No one can sit home for 24 hours for the rest of life. They may not work hard and long like they used to be but some people who were hard workers seldom sit home and they do not listen to their dear ones either when it comes to go out and do something. Keeping the retired people 24 hours home will not reduce the crime rate. Will you sit home 24 hours a day once you're retired? I am sure I will not. Moreover if this lady has been attacked while she was just on a evening walk, will we ask the same question (will you send your parents to walk)

    Anand,

Just to throw some stats a whopping 8,51,000 crimes were reported during the last 7 yrs of BJP rule in Karnataka alone. This is as per reports from Hindu, TOI etc. Based on this , Can you now rephrase your comment.

Stop acting Childish. There are educated people in Daijiworld who read your comment, dont make a mockery of yourself.

Truth First, entire Daiji readers are educated and few of us highly educated too. Most of them are still die hard supporters of CONGiss as if they do not know what CONGiss did in Central and what they are doing again in KarNatak. Entire World knows how CONGiss performed for last 10 years now. Entire India going to reject CONGiss and its’ alliance in coming Lok Sabha Election as per Poll prediction, yet our 30% Karnataka people supports Congress means we can imagine how educated we are and who is kidding. Throw some lights on State wise comparison of crime rate too for last 7 years and you will come to know which State was good

Realized one thing: When facts are thrown to you, you just shy away from it making generalistic statements like - "whole world knows the truth, 30% Karnataka vote support congress etc" we just finished an election 6 months back my dear friend and congress won it with 54.3% votes.

There is a law that an employee must be 18 years old to be given a job. Isn't there a limit to be given a job ?

She was 68 and working in a factory ? Who worried because she did not return at the usual time ? Unemployed members for whom she earned the bread ? What will they eat hereafter ?

Just my guess because I am angry that she was made to labour even at this age. It might be that she was a healthy, self-reliant individual. Apologies to the great soul..

May her soul rest in peace.

Now-a-days chain snatchers are at large..who are on bike. May be elderly respected women resisted..for that reason may pushed her in an hurry. Recently a gang of chain-snatchers are arrested from suratkal and recovered many stolen ornaments..are doing from many years.

Other reason might be some motorists dashed her.. or due to her old age she might fallen and had some injuries. For each and everything please don't bring sangh parivar in the middle. We know very well how the people around. Jai Ho..
