Mangalore, Nov 15: ‘Pre Unique – 2013’, a state-level intellectual and cultural fest of St Aloysius College was formally inaugurated at the college Pretorium on Friday November 15.

Dr Araty H Shetty, principal of Sarsa College of Arts and Science inaugurated the event by lighting the traditional lamp along with other dignitaries. Fr Elvis C Lewis SJ, principal of the college presided over the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Araty Shetty said, "In a Guru (teacher) we find three main qualities - creator, protector and destroyer of evil. Looking at this college, the same image comes to my mind. It is an opportunity for every student studying in this college to get trained in various other qualities along with the education," she said.

Saying that she felt privileged to be a part of this fest, Dr Shetty lauded the management and the students for the beautiful decore at the fest venue.
