Mangalore: ‘Sahakari Sadana’ shopping mall to come up in city

Mangalore, Nov 15: ‘Sahakari Sadana’, a commercial hub to be built by Ma Smart Developers Mangalore Private Limited was launched at Rao and Rao circle, Mission Street here on Friday November 15.
The project was launched by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel while MLA J R Lobo released the brochure along with other dignitaries.
Pushparaj Jain, president of CREDAI and corporator Abdul Latheel were the chief guests.
MP Nalin Kumar in his address said, "If any person after Molahalli Shivakumar has contributed vastly to the co-operative sector, it is none other than M N Rajendra Kumar." He conveyed his wishes for the speedy completion of the project and hoped that the co-operative sector would grow to greater heights.
MLA J R Lobo said, "It is unique that for person known in co-operative sector to start a venture with private sector. Whenever outsiders visit the city, looking at the beautiful buildings and shopping complexes, they comment that our city is developed. But along with buildings, even industry should come up and investments should flow into the city."
Stating that Mangalore has all basic infrastructures, skilled persons and other resources and the potential to develop, he asked the government to give importance to the city in terms of development. He wished success to Ma Smart Developers in their venture.
Dr M N Rajendra Kumar, chairman, Mohammed Ibrahim, managing director, directors Abdul Khader, Ibrahim Khallel, Megharaj among others were present.
