Bangalore: Another U-turn: Now excursion for students of all sections

Bangalore, Nov 17 (DHNS): In another U-turn, the Congress government on Saturday decided to extend the facility of government-sponsored annual excursion to students of all castes/religions.

The Tourism department, in its revised order, stated that in the current academic year, students of classes eight, nine and 10 in government schools would be taken on tours for four days. From 30 districts, 13,500 students would be selected and Rs 3,500 would be spent on each student. In all, the Tourism department will spend Rs 4.72 crore for the tour programmes in a year.

The selection of students should be made by the Education department. There will be no caste factor involved in the selection of students, according to Tourism Minister R V Deshpande.

The Siddaramaiah government’s  decision to provide the free educational tour facility only to students belonging to backward classes and minorities had faced severe flak.

The government has been giving such facility for SC/ST children for many years. The Opposition parties argued that there should be no discrimination among children.

The report reads "The government has been giving such facility for SC/ST children for many years". That mans even the previous BJP government was aware of this facility given to minorities. How come they have now realized this flaw/discrimination? Just because Siddhu government is continuing this facility their eyes are open and argue that there should not be discrimination among children!! What a BJP'S double standard!!!

Thanks to DVS, Ashok, Suresh, Shettar, Eshwarappa etc etc for your protest against injustice to the majority community. Congis have accepted their mistake.

If this was not protested against, tomorrow things would have been worst like:

    1. Only for Minority/SC/ST Govt Jobs will be given.
    2. Only for Minority/SC/ST BDA Sites will be given.
    3. 50% reservation for Minority/SC/ST in Trains.
    4. Petrol to be sold at 30% concession rate for Minority/SC/ST.
    5. No tax to be paid by Minority/SC/ST
    6. Govt loans need not be returned back by Minority/SC/ST
    7. 40% of Bharatha Ratna should be reserved for Minority/SC/ST
    8. No traffic rules for Minority/SC/ST
    9. Police should not register complaint against Minority/SC/ST
    10. KSRTC bus fares to be cheaper by 33% for Minority/SC/ST
    11. ISRO, HAL, BEL, BHEL, IOCL to have separate Minority/SC/ST division.
    12. Minority/SC/ST will not have to pay 10 Rs entrance fee to listen to Modi's speech as congress govt will bear this expense.

Dinesh,Mahatma Gandhi belonged to minority, Mother Teresa belonged to minority, Anna Hazare belongs to a minority, any good will person, irrespective of religion belongs to minority, I mean Minority is not by religion but by accepting your neighbor as a fellow human with respect and love.

As for Deshpremees with saffron color identity, with respect I say, please read Ramayan or Bagavadgita once again all over. Lord Ram or Lord Krishna, they did not choose to Unlove anyone, even their enemies.

Whats the problem with this govt? First they will introduce all programmes to minorities/backward classes etc. Later they will bend and extend to all castes/religions. Then they will claim that, we are seculars/no discrimination. Congis should know that, poor people are there in all castes/religions. This is called vote bank politics. Since the beginning they are dividing the nation by caste and religion. Shame on congis.

Why doesn't he learn lessons from the previous issues? Why can't he sit with his colleagues n discuss first & then take a decision on any schemes or projects??

Why he like Hitler or Feku?

Siddu, don't be over smart, people of Karnataka are not fools at all, you know it well....
