Udupi: Deve Gowda compares Modi's rally to street dance

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (DV)

Udupi, Nov 19: "The rallies being held by BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi across the country in the name of 'Save India' campaign can be compared to the local street dance (domabarata)," said former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda, national president of JD(S).

He was addressing reporters at the residence of JD(S) leader Vasanth Salian at Katapady here on Monday November 19.

"To strengthen the BJP party they are resorting to various tactics. But they cannot strengthen the party by holding rallies. If this could result in winning an election everyone would be conducting rallies," said Gowda.

"The Modi wave in the country is like a balloon. If you pump air into the balloon it will enlarge, but if it comes into contact with any sharp object it will burst. In the same way, Modi wave is spreading at a fast rate, but no one can say when it may suddenly stop," he said.

"In the political history of India those who announced themselves as Prime Ministerial candidates in advance have never been successful. By announcing the candidate name, BJP has activated its political gimmick. Only the Third Front has the key to decide the future Prime Minister. Neither BJP, Congress nor any political party can decide this. In the forthcoming elections JD(S) will emerge as a prominent political power in Karnataka," he said.

On this occasion JD(S) leader Vasanth Salian, Udupi district JD(S) president Devi Prasad Shetty, secretary Gulam Mohammed, Dakshina Kannada district JD(S) president MB Sadhashiva, secretary Mohammed Kunhi, Youth JD(S) district president Vasudev Rao, leaders like Yogish Shetty, Gangadhar Suvarna, Kamalaksha Suvarna were present.

One can see the desperation of most of the people above. Either most of them illegally making money or they are anti nationals. Because only two people afraid of him anti nationals & corrupt people hate him. You cannot call NaMo as communal because if one say so, then they should count on Cong, SP, BSP and so on. After 2002 there was not even a curfew in Gujarat.

I am closely watching Mr. Modi’s speeches on television, in each and every rally other than showing hatred and vomiting venom on current PM and ruling party, is he talking anything better or different in any rally’s ? If he is projecting himself to be the next PM ( ? ), all 125 crores of people of India wants to know and hear about his vision and mission statements for the growth of India and of 125 crores people and not hatred and venom speeches, I suppose !. What you say ?

Everybody started to realize who exactly Modi is. No doubt he attracts crowds with his sweet bubble talk. But is that will give 1.2 billion people Security, Bread and Butter. One should think 100 times. His attraction is like a beautiful girl standing on the street and if I scratch her with 10 PAISE COIN 10 RUPEE PONDS POWDER/MAKE UP will come out.

He breaks the law in his own state without listening to supreme court orders. The girls in his own state are not secured. He has a curse of innocents and the blood is crying from heaven.

Basil, We can understand your frustration. Modi has great vision but he does not believe in disclosing it. his work's are countless.

Gujarat is the leading solar power generating state in India.he is the longest serving chief minister of the state.

Sir Modi is investor-friendly administrator.Port development has been one of the most significant achievements of Sir Modi's government.

Last year UK ended its decade-long boycott and began re-engaging with Modi government. This was followed by the US and later by the European union because of his great administration skills.

    I just love Modi.

Agreed Mr. Modi has done lot of improvement in Gujarat. But sorry to say that in his state, the poor, the dalits and the tribals are completely neglected. So where is the improvement? in the rural towns and cities and not in the remote corners of the state. Recently two NGOs represented by the TV actor teams came of KBC to raise funds for these tribals and backward people. If Modi has done so much for the betterment of people why these NGOs are struggling to raise funds for the needy of Gujarat? Is it the case where his purse gets plump at the cost of economic growth. How can people forget the atrocities on the minorities under his leadership? what guarantee is there that he will not repeat them once again when he attains the supreme power of the Nation? Please think this and do not be blinded by the safron glasses (saffron not pink is intentionally mentioned) God save our country and the normal people from these cunning foxes and wolves who come in sheep's clothing and are ready to devour the innocent and helpless.

Jennet Prescilla, I am sad to say this. Seems like you want our country to get screwed in a few years. You gave 60 years to the congress and list of scams are available in wiki but still you speak about modi's administration in a negative way.

The only solution for this is, You should personally effect by congress in the future and then u realize the pain. Every state got issues but gujarat is the only state is in the path of success.

I don't understand why u guys see Sir Modi as communal. Read about godra issue clearly and then comment. Talk to news channels personally and get the real fact behind Godra.
