Mangalore, Apr 10: "South Canara District Central Cooperative Bank will soon introduce mobile banking service in the city to aid the customers," said SCDCC bank chairman M N Rajendra Kumar.

This was announced in a press conference here.

He said that the banking sector is becoming more and more competitive these days.  "No more banking sector can exclusively be called as service sector.  It is also becoming corporate sector.  So we have thought of introducing 'mobile banking' service to reach our customers.  As per this banking activities will be held for couple of hours in various places of the city.  All the branches will be in direct touch with the mobile banking and the customers can avail all the banking facilities through this," he added.

SCDCC bank directors B Niranjan, Devraj, Vadiraj Shetty, Jeevan Bhandari, I T Jayram, K Dinkar and Manjunath Shenoy too were present at the press conference.
