NBA: Dwight Howard fined $25,000


Washington, Nov 22 (IANS): Houston Rockets centre Dwight Howard was fined $25,000 by the National Basketball Association (NBA) for tossing the ball into the stands during an away match against Dallas Mavericks.

Howard threw the ball among the spectators during the Rockets' 120-123 away loss to the Dallas Mavericks after he was intentionally fouled, and was sentenced a technical foul immediately.

The All-Star centre made a personal season high 33 points in the game.
