Mangalore: Journalist Mohan Suvarna (37) dies following brief illness

Mangalore, Nov 23: Journalist and poet Mohan Suvarna (37) passed away on Friday November 22 night in a private hospital here following a brief illness.

He was a news reader with V4 channel and had earlier worked with Namma Kudla and Spandana channels. 

He had also worked for Mungaru, Netravati Varthe and Mumbai’s Karnataka Malla newspapers.

As a poet, he had published two anthologies.

He leaves behind his mother, brother and sister.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, former MLA Vijayakumar Shetty and corporator Dayananda Shetty paid their last respects to the departed soul.

Dakshina Kannada Working Journalists' Union and Mangalore Press Club has expressed their grief at the untimely demise of Mohan Suvarna.
