Dubai: Milagreans Gulf Association all geared up for Fiesta 2013

Dubai, Nov 24: On Friday November 29 Dubai will be witnessing the crowning of first ever “Ms & Mr Charming” at Al Nasr Poolside, Dubai. The fashion show is being presented by Kallianpur Milagreans Gulf Association Dubai (MGAD) as a part of their “Fiesta 2013”.
Preparations are going on in full swing and the fashion show has received overwhelming response so far. In addition to the fashion show for ladies and men, a special show has been organized for families / couples and the first “Charming Family” will also be crowned.
Ace Konkani singer Lancy Moras who will be flown in from Saudi will be performing live with top notch singers like Monica Valdar and others from Dubai. Thushara Kuruvitage, top Sri Lankan musician and composer having over 25 glorious years of music exposure will provide music to the show. Top Bollywood dancers from Dubai are already geared up to mesmerize the crowd with their amazing hip Hop and Bollywood dances.
As in the past MGAD members have made every effort to make the show a grand and successful one. Preliminary / practice session for the fashion show will take place on Wednesday November 27. All participants of the show will get a certificate of participation and the winners will be crowned “Ms & Mr Charming 2013” and “The Charming Family/Couple 2013” (contest begins at 4:30 pm sharp). Winners will get City Centre gift vouchers worth thousands of Dhirams, which can be encashed at any outlet in City Centre, along with individual gift hampers. Each category will have one winner and a runner-up.
As an added attraction there will be “Cutest Santa Contest” for kids (contest begins 3 pm sharp). Parents are requested to dress their kids below 10 years in Santa Claus costumes and the best dressed kid will win the prize. There will be 10 other consolation prizes.
Every entry coupon will go into a draw and the winner will get a return ticket to India (Mangalore) as a prize.
A number of stall games will be organized to bring back the memories of Kallianpur Milagres Vodle Festh along with various spot games and prizes. Tickets are reasonably priced at AED 70 for adults and AED 40 for kids, children below 4 years can enter free. The entry ticket includes a lunch coupon for the sumptuous Mangalorean buffet prepared by the best chefs at Al Nasr.
It is an excellent opportunity for the expat community in UAE to relax and have some great fun by being a part of this Fiesta which should not be missed. The event is open to all and will begin at 11:30 am and will be hosted by international award winning MC Ronald Olivera.
Kallianpur Milagreans Gulf Association Dubai has worked hard to bring this event in Dubai and the funds raised by this event will be diverted to form the ‘Milagreans in-need Fund’ (MIF).
