Mangalore: CM playing vote bank politics, should resign: BJP Yuva Morcha

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore

Mangalore, Nov 25: "Ever since Congress government came to power, chief minister Siddaramaiah has been dividing people by implementing various programmes restricted to a particular community, and hence we demand that he resigns," said BJP Yuva Morcha state president Muniraj.

Addressing the gathering during the protest organized by district BJP Yuva Morcha in front of the deputy commissioner's office here on Monday November 25, Muniraj said, "Chief minister Siddaramaiah who is leading the 6 crore population of Karnataka does not know about terrorist Yasin Bhatkal. By implementing programmes like Shaadi Bhagya, it is clear that the CM is in favor of only one community," he said.

Insisting that the chief minister is responsible for dividing the people on communal lines, state president said the Congress has two faces. "On one side the Karnataka CM is supporting Muslims in the state, while at the center Rahul Gandhi has been linking Muslims with the ISI," he said, adding that the government has not taken any action over love Jihad, terrorist activities and others.

Asking Siddaramaiah to think about farmers instead of supporting a particular community, Muniraj asked the CM 'to apologize for his mistake'. "We will not tolerate all these things in future and if it continues, we will intensify our protest," he added.

S V Raghavendra, state secretary of BJP Yuva Morcha said, "The chief minister does not know as to what extent he has to support a community. You (CM) tell that you have no idea about Yasin Bhatkal mainly because he is a Muslim. This is nothing but vote bank politics.

"Siddaramaiah takes decisions as he wishes without even consulting senior Congress leaders. The government fools people saying they will treat all people equally. But when it comes to free excursion to students, it is only for backward classes and minorities. This way, seeds of communal differences are sown being among children as well," he alleged.

"Ever since Congress came to power in the state, no developmental works have been undertaken. They are introducing new schemes mainly for vote bank. But when BJP was in power, it did good work for all people."

He added, "We need not ask Siddaramaiah to step down now, after Lok Sabha election, Congress itself will ask him to step down, and BJP will give the right answer to Congress by getting Narendra Modi elected as our PM," he said. "Congress has no right to point at Narendra Modi nor is it capable enough to even call his name. Already one wicket of Congress has fallen after the resignation of Santosh Lad, and by the time the election is here, all wickets will fall," he added.

State Yuva Morcha vice-president Kishore Kumar Puttur, district president Ranjan Gowda, Kodagu president Bharateshwar among others were present.

One has to take pity on BJP "LED" people and just ignore their hate filled remarks.

It takes long time to erase the hatred and cleanse the venom that is injected in their brain and blood.
So all you other people please have immense patience.
Do not hate them but try to make them understand even if it takes a century and half...

    Dear BJP Yuva Morcha.

Instead of sitting in front of the DC's Office please give Dharna at BJP Head Quarters, demanding your leaders to stop religion/Cast based reservations. Congress never learns from their mistakes. For Both BJP & Congress "Minority" Mantra is profitable. Actually both the parties do not have real concern of minorities.

Good for nothing people on stage and equally jobless goons attending the meet. First read the Indian constitution. Karnataka Government is elected by people of Karnataka and not by these bunch of jokers. Karnataka Government has a majority in the assembly and BJP didn't even manage to get half of the seats won by the Congress. So on what basis these idiots are asking government to resign? Government is not a sole trading concern. This government is far better than earlier BJP government and in Karnataka BJP can never dream of coming to power.

    Ridiculous demand!
Who is not playing vote bank politics. Fielding a candidate of a particular majority community is the time tested practice of all political parties. Go through any newspaper analysis on the poll outcome during election time and they based their analysis purely based on the majority community in a constituency vis-a-vis the community of the candidate. And by these few bunch of people talking to the microphone do they really think Siddu will put papers? Anyway...they are really Yuva Morcha lacks the much needed experience. Criticism on Shadi bhagya is a tad too late.

Looks like BJP leaders don’t know what they are doing. The banner itself is wrong in the first place. At once they say that CM should resign at another instance they say that ‘After 2014 Congress will ask CM to step down’. If they are confident that after 2014 CM will be thrown why on earth they need to protest now?
