Bantwal, Apr 14: A late report said Ramavarma 'Arasu', descendant of the Domba Heggade ruling family lineage of Vittal, passed away of a heart attack late Thursday night.
He has reportedly taken part in the fund collection drive for the Panchalingeshwar temple of the the Vittal Seema until yesterday. The end appears to have come suddenly.
At the time of death, he was honorary president of the Vittal Vidyavardhaka Sangha, traditional trustee of the Panchalingeshwara temple and secretary and treasurer of the temple renovation committee.
