Doha: Myths, miracles busted at KMCA Rajyotsava event

Doha: Myths, miracles busted at KMCA Rajyotsava event

Daijiworld Media Network - Doha

Doha, Nov 30: Hulikal Nataraj, a headmaster in a school in Doddaballapur in Karnataka, has embarked on a mission to bust myths and miracles by propogating scientific temperament. He has been travelling widely, reaching out people through live shows, TV programmes, articles, books etc in order to prove that, there is nothing called ‘miracle’ and hence everything that happens around and with us, happens with a reason and a cause.

Nataraj was in Doha gracing the maiden Karnataka Rajyotsava celebrations organized by Karnataka Muslim Cultural Association (KCMA) is a premier socio-cultural organization living in Qatar and is affiliated with Indian Embassy in Doha at the Al Maha Boys Academy on Friday November 29 and during a show of two hours left the audience in total awe by busting myth after myth, giving apt scientific explanation and where science not involved, threw light on the ‘technique’ used by these miracle workers which often leaves gullible people in total confusion and fear.

Nataraj demonstrated these ‘miracles’, lucidly explained the underlying scientific principles and added how the godmen were cheating the innocent by performing these ‘miracles’ in the open and claiming to possess divine powers.

He exposed many superstitious beliefs and black magic through simple scientific methods to make people aware of the tricks practiced by the black magicians, self-styled godmen and various other religious beliefs and myths.

On godmen making tricks like making the coconut to stand erect on his palm, deceiving people by showing the water resource through sticks, Nataraj explained that nothing of this was supernatural but pure tricks of fingers and hogwash.

The initiative of the KMCA to hold such an awareness and engaging campaign, instead of going for popular modes of entertainment such as music shows, plays, dance etc, came in for appreciation from the entire gathering. KMCA president Niyaz Ahmed and the executive committee showed immense courage in adapting a different way of organizing Karnataka Rajyotsava celebration. Hulikal Nataraj received a thunderous applause everytime he busted a so called ‘miracle’ and demolished the ‘superstition surrounding such miracles.

Earlier the evening programme began with the keynote address. Later the chief guest of the evening Ravi Shetty, entrepreneur, philathrophist and president of Bunts Qatar, guest of honour Hulikal Nataraj and special invitee A N Mahesh were escorted to the stage by KMCA president Niyaz Ahmed, Ibraiz Khan and Saeed Assadi. They were welcomed by presenting the bouquets.

Speaking on the occasion, chief guest of the evening Ravi Shetty said that we are united here despite of cast creed and Celebrating Rajyotsava as a Kannadigas. He congratulated KMCA President and Executive members for celebrating with meaningful awareness.

Former president of the Karnataka Sangha Qatar Arun and his wife former Head of Affilation and Consular Srvices Milan Arun distributed prizes to students who won and also participated in the quiz completion organized by the KMCA recently.

This was followed by felicitation to Daijiworld Director Alexis Castelino for his untiring and yeoman services to the Kannadiga community in Qatar. He was presented with a Mysore Petta and a memento and was draped with a shawl after being escorted to the stage by Irfan Shariff.

Guest of the honour Hulikal Nataraj too was felicitated on the occasion. Thereafter souvenir Pragathi was released by special invitee A N Mahesh. In his address A N Mahesh informed the gathering about Hulikal Nataraj’s awareness campaign and myth-busting mission.

Former president of the Karnataka Sangha Qatar Arun and his wife Milan, former Head of Affilation and Consular Services, distributed prizes to students who won and also participated in the quiz completion organized by the KMCA recently. The winners of the quiz compeition were Nimrah Rehman (first), Smrithi Bhat (second) and Vaidehi Pujary (third).

KMCA President Niyaz Ahmed welcomed the gathering while  KMCA Past President Ahmed Saeed Assadi proposed the vote of thanks. Javeed A Khan compered the programme.

The short and sweet celebration concluded with tea, coffee and snacks.

Prominent community leaders were present on the occasion.

Congratulations KMCA , the miracle bursting show was very well organised by KMCA team led by Mr. Niyaz Ahmed, the man behind the success. One must know the tricks made by the Jadu Manthars gang , to cheat people , not only financially, but mentally for those who believe in these miracles, will be lost for ever in fear and superstition in their rest of the life . These are engineered miracles , even the educated will get fooled and will believe it as something supernatural . Our hearty Conflagrations to Mr. Hulikal Nataraj , who is the man who has studied these miracles and busted them to show the people of the world how it is done . One must attend this great show.

Mr.P.Shirish Kumar, what are you stating is an logical fallacy. so according to you something that has tied to a girl`s neck and it has lasted for a more than a decade and it proves something. But the fact is it does not. What you need is to think rationally.

Hulikal Nataraj, since you demonstrated so many simple things, I have a question for you. Please reply if you read Daijiworld or please Daiji please pass this message to him.

One Person from a small Temple tied a ordinary Black thin thread to a One year old child after praying to the God for the safety of the child, as usual people believe in this. But the Parents nor the child never removed this thread from her neck. Now she is 13 years & 7 months old, still the thread is not broken. So many years she is wearing this thread even during shower, never removed from her neck.

It is a ordinary thread normally people use to tie Thavis or God's small photo. It is not a metal thread!! May I know the reason how it lasted for almost 14 years on her body. ? Please my dear readers give your opinion but don't write silly comments. Let us think what is the reason. I believe there is a power above all human beings, we call it in different names. We are all one, don't group us as per the religion or caste. All are human beings.

KMCA Team, Firstly, congratulations on an extremely-successful huge event on this Friday. Thank you for organizing such a profound and spectacular mega event. I thought that the theme ed to celebrate Karnataka Rajyotsava in a different way was an impeccable idea. Otherwise many people they think and celebrate by organizing repeated musical programs with repeated singers, repeated drama’s with repeated drama artists by collecting a big fund. This type of educational awareness program helps each and every educated as well as uneducated persons I trust. People those who conducts an event, it is a good example to learn.

Hulikal Nataraj, Congratulations and wish you all the success in your endeavor to educate people about myth and superstition. There are forces who do not want people to be educated as their business of looting the gullible will suffer. They even go to the of eliminating who goes against their vested interest. For example: Mr.Dabholkar in Pune.

It is a pleasure to read such well covered article on the event. Alex, you are a master in your craft. Thank you for your presence and the coverage.
Alhamdulillah, it is so encouraging to see an event, by far being a success, with the audience at the edge of their seats mesmerized by the performance of the so called miracles and the tricks behind it.
Particularly, the information shared by Mr. Hulikal nataraj of the wealth amassed by the so called god men performing these tricks and deceiving and manipulating people and their emotional and mental states.
A very satisfying time spent and knowledge gained.
Now we are looking forward to In'Shaa'Allah present Mr. Hulikal's Daughter who is a personality in herself and a Guiness world record holder.
Much more to come from KMCA under the able leadership of Captain Niyaz Ahmed and the dedicated utive committee.
Thanks again to all the attendees, especially the heads of various karnataka associations in qatar.

Well done Niyaz and KMCA team.. The program was well organized with good hospitality to each and every audience & children.
Most important is the program was on time and sent a good message to the Indian community.
Many people had misunderstood Hulikal Nataraj and was proved that he is only against fake people who are exploiting public..
Other Kannada organizations must take this as an example.
