Mangalore, Apr 20: The historical Kadri temple is all geared up for the annual Brahmakalashabiksheks festivities. An event marked by colourful festivities and religious ceremonies will begin on April 24 and will  go on for 11 days.  The cost of the festivities is said to be Rs 41 lac.

The temple is being decked up for the grand event. The temple complex is getting a facelift and arches are being erected all over the place to welcome the devotees.

The religious ceremonies include Thorana Muhurtha and Ugrana Muhurtha. Mass feeding (Anna Dana) will also be held.

Adequate parking space will be made around the temple.  Cleanliness, sanitation, drinking water facilities will also be ensured.
