Mangalore, Apr 21: The world of music has a new addition in the form of Symphony, a branch of Casio Gallery in Kudmul Ranga Rao Road, inaugurated here amidst glittering ceremony by renowned bansuri artiste Pandit Ronu Majumdar on Thursday, April 20.


Speaking on the occasion Pandit Majumdar said that the language of music is a language of love. It does not give rise to hatred, instead it unites people. The musical notes, ‘sa re ga ma pa da ni sa’ are not related to any religion or sect. Expressing concern over the inclination towards western music among the youth, he said that one should not forget Indian music.

The showroom is a centre for Casio and Yamaha and also sells other Indian and western musical instruments.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of Expert Education and Charitable Trust president Narendra Nayak, Usha Narendra Nayak, St Aloysius Industrial Training Institute director Fr Leo D’ Souza and owner of Symphony Loy Noronha.
