I would like to congratulate Raknno Weekly and Best Wishes for their Platinum Jubilee celebrations. It is really a special celebration for Raknno Weekly.
I know Raknno Weekly very well and read it regularly on the net like Daijiworld. I regularly speak with friends, who live in Mangalore, over Skype about interesting articles published in Raknno Weekly. Yes, this great paper is the forum for the Konkani people to express their “thoughts and feelings, opinions and aspirations.” And of course a source for people who like to achieve a higher command over Konkani, who learned Konkani later in life.
Raknno informs, educates, enlightens and entertains and give Konkani people abroad the possibility to be informed about Mangalore, India etc.
Almost all fields are covered like religious, political cultural and many more. Up to now it has been always a pleasure to read Raknno beside Daijiworld and The Hindu.
The completion of 75 years of fruitful, truthful and successful publishing is a milestone and I hope and wish that this great and wonderful Konkani paper will serve the people further.

    Best regards
